Hazmat Unit Responds To Toxic Scare

SAN ANTONIO -- Authorities said they had to treat four people and evacuate apartments Tuesday morning after a toxic mix of cleaning solutions left a foul odor at an apartment complex.Authorities evacuated two apartments and EMS treated tenants while the hazardous material team searched for the source of the smell.Hazmat crews were called out to the 5300 block of Northwest Loop 410 and Evers Road at the Rolling Ridge Square Apartment Complex after a tenant complained about the smell.

Firefighters said they believe cleaning solutions that were unproperly mixed caused the scare.A firefighter dispatcher said everyone returned to their apartments without incident and no one was seriously injured.

SOOOOO... how was your Memorial Day??

Guys, I remember ALL TOO WELL having to work holidays..... long 16-18 hour shifts as a Charge Nurse..... leaving the kids with sitters or Tim to "celebrate" the holiday without me.... and TODAY we all enjoyed a day on the lake on the jet skiis together! It was sooooo awesome!!

The lake was SO HIGH that I didn't think we'd be able to launch... but we managed! I guess all the rain in North Texas and around San Antonio decided to collect in our lake!! LOL!

Back to "work" now.... returning and adding images to my site before the SPURS "kick butt" on the JAZZ!!
